My Hiking ExperiencesI have been hiking the White Mountains of New Hampshire since 1977. I try to get up there at least once a year. Since 1986 I have hiked them with a good friend of mine. Rob and I like to hike the various mountains of the Presidential Range shown here.
Very often we hike one of the many trails leading to the summit of Mount Washington. At 6,288 feet, Mount Washington is tallest mountain in the North Eastern United States and is the most famous of the White Mountains. It is best known for having the worst weather ever recorded on earth with winds of 231 miles per hour! Follow a link to see some of the recent pictures I have taken.
